Chris Andrews has been a technology evangelist and proponent of standards-based enterprise architectures and processes for over ten years, with specific expertise in the municipal and utilities industries. As Autodesk’s Senior Product Manager for the Infrastructure Conceptual Design software products, Chris researches design and planning at the scale of infrastructure, focusing on gathering customer requirements and delivering solutions that will help customers evaluate plans and proposals for large projects in the transportation, utilities and urban planning industries.
Design and engineering customers and stakeholders are demanding better tools for evaluating future projects and alternative designs before breaking ground or signing off on designs. Autodesk has introduced new tools such as Autodesk Infrastructure Modeler and Project Galileo Online to help our customers easily create conceptual designs in 3D, reuse detailed designs in context, and quickly navigate through and explore a project on a desktop, web, or mobile platform.
